Peawanuck - The Promised Land (1988)

Tells the story of the Winisk River Cree people whose village was devastated by a 1986 flood during spring breakup. Over the next year, the villagers re-grouped and built a new village called Peawanuck across the Winisk River on higher ground from the flooded out village.
