im Galloway - A Journey in Jazz chronicles the amazing Scotsman who adopted Canada as a young man and then carved out an international career as saxophonist and jazz impresario. Like Charlie Parker, he played with the great Jay McShann. He played with awesome Count Basie veteran Buddy Tate.

Jim Galloway was born in Dalry, Scotland. He graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a degree in graphic design.

Jim Galloway - A Journey in Jazz was filmed in Dalry, Glasgow, Kansas City, New York, Toronto and Vienna following the path of Galloway's extraordinary career.
